just found out that everyone in the house has bubble tea except for me. like, they bought bubble tea as a family, and left me out. unintentionally or intentionally, i don't want to know.
i know it's just an itty gritty bitty thing but sometimes, it's these itty bitty gritty things that matters and hurts the most. it just makes me feel unimportant, as though i deserve nothing more. yeah, maybe thats what it really meant and that i'm not over-analysing the entire situation. sometimes, it really makes me wonder, why do i always give more than i receive? why am i always the only one who feels things i shouldn't, feel bad, then start doing a lot more than i should? is this the effect of smarts and years of lit? is it really possible to feel and know more than someone of lower level?
service learning was fun, i guess. not that we did much, but we got to talk to the aunties there. there's this particular auntie who was rather annoying and bossy at the beginning. i think it's a reflex thing. they are probably used to seeing youngsters not knowing what to do and them not understanding what they are saying. but what they didn't know is that we're a special group with special talents, which we didn't utilize much in the end. hahaha. :D
out movie-ing with julia and sammi afterwards. shopaholic was AWESOME, the male leads's handsome and he desperately reminds me of the prince in ella enchanted, which julia then informed me that he wasn't. im so going to do a background check on him. i swear i had seen him somewhere, loved him, but i just couldn't put a finger as to where and who. argh. late sleeps really cause brains to deteriorate, doesn't it? :x
the general storyline remained, but the details were, to a very large extent, different from what was written in the book. so in a way, it was a whole new movie for me. it was not bad, considering how so many other books-to-movie attempts had failed. the main point was that the the guys were hot (LUKE BRANDON, tarkie etc) and the girls.. hmm.. suze looked kind of wierd. according to sammi, she looked like a goldfish. LOLS. but it was good eventually. the movie wrapped up pretty nicely.
had a very fun time tell zhiwei how shopaholic's such a brain-engaging, philosophical movie which he would DIE to watch. LOLS!! we just kept chimifying it while refusing to tell him the title. it was a fun time, until he jacked me back. >.< he's such a cinderella. argh. he refused to get bubble tea for me too!! :(
we decided to be thrifty, and went to long john's for dinner. like, HA! long johns. XD i never knew fast food was a choice when it came to being thrifty. but then again, times have changed, or rather, surroundings have changed and things are different. not that i minded, though. i love long john's cuz they serve coke. anywhere with coke is fine with me. :D
times spent with the girls are always good. the bitching and the nonsens-ing. it makes my food so much more enjoyable. lots of love! <3
i tried being mean the entire day, doing stuff that comes naturally to me 4 years back. now, it just feels uncomfortable and difficult. how the heck did i manage live 13 years of my life behaving like cruella? o.0 nice people are always taken advantaged of. now that i've experienced it myself, i shall cease being the nice me, and revert back to my oldself. if being nice meant that my words are going to be ignored and that im not going to be taken seriously or respected, then i'm just going to have to get things done with other extreme methods. i tried, so don't say i haven't.
lastly, i'll end with this shout-out which i know will earn me death glares from sammi and joyin:
i want to go to kulai!! T.T
